Step 2 Step 2 is kind of like a reference section with the primary topics being the Particles and Verbs. The Particles The particles are small, function words that help to put the words in Japanese sentences into perspective. Not all of the particles are included here; we hope to add more particles in future updates. The particles are sort of like many of the small words in English, to, by, for, as, of, on, in, before, after, about, while, at, etc. Many of these words are often difficult to explain but without them, English sentences would be very hard to understand.  Within the Particles Introduction segment is a condensed English-grammar lesson that covers English terms mentioned throughout the program.
